Hi, I’m Jessi, founder and chef behind Pavi’s Creations — a food business born from a passion for cooking, community, and the joy of bringing people together. As a proud Sacramento native, food has always been at the center of my life.

Raised by two immigrant Mexican parents, I grew up in a home where food wasn’t just nourishment — it was the heartbeat of our family. It connected us through laughter, stories, and shared meals. From an early age, I learned the value of hard work, dedication, and the power of good food to create lasting memories.

The Evolution of Pavi’s

After graduating from culinary school 12 years ago, I’ve worked nearly every role in the food industry — from line cook to server to event chef. Along the way, I honed my craft, led teams, managed kitchens, and created dishes that brought people together in celebration.

Pavi’s Creations started as a side hustle during this time — a passion project inspired by my love of food, especially cheeses, cured meats, and the art of hosting. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something more as I saw the joy it brought to others.

When the pandemic hit, I made the bold decision to fully commit to Pavi’s Creations — and that’s when everything changed. Thanks to the incredible support of my Sacramento community, the business began to flourish.

Now, I’m pivoting back to my roots as a chef, focusing on food-forward, chef-driven experiences. It’s about more than just beautiful platters — I want to tell stories through seasonal, high-quality ingredients that reflect who I am as a creative and as a chef.

My mission is to create unforgettable food experiences that blend beauty, flavor, and heart. From custom platters to curated menus and even floral arrangements from local farms, every detail matters. I work closely with my clients to bring their vision to life with thoughtfully sourced, organic ingredients and locally made goods.

While cheese and charcuterie will always be part of my offerings, I’m embracing a broader, more expressive culinary style — one that celebrates the seasons, my heritage, and the vibrant food culture that surrounds me. This is my way of giving back and continuing to spark joy through the art of food.

We will send over a custom proposal

Save the date. Pay 20% deposit and submit signed contract.

Once complete we send over our second menu and start finalizing menu
